Yes, they are. I honestly cannot believe it. As someone who has dealt a lot with suicide (my father committed suicide and I have struggled with suicidal thoughts, specifically about my sexual orientation), I’m way more offended by IKAG. Karofsky’s forced coming out was actually about him, and people apologized for treating him cruelly/insensitively. The community discussed how serious his situation is and cared about the effects it would have. It wasn’t perfect (Schue’s story, Quinn, etc), but it was leaps and bounds better than the shit treatment Santana got and continues to get.
